Mangan and Stewart are named to All-League teams
At the end of each high school basketball season, league coaches meet to name all-league players for honors.
Each coach voted on individual players from all league teams, noting standouts and honoring extraordinary success.
This year, two Lady Jackrabbits were among those selected.
Sophomore Jadyn Mangan was named to the second team and freshman Jadence Stewart was named to the third team.
Other girls named were first team Anna Briggs, Quinter; Gracie Parsons, St. Francis; Tayten Dewey, Rawlins County; Breyana Gehring, Decatur Community; Gabbie Vontz, Decatur Community; second team Bryn Gillespie, Quinter; Jersey Benisch, Wallace County; Jessie Whipple, Dighton; Abby Micek, Rawlins County; Ellie Krien, St. Francis; Cashlyn Kvasnicka, Quinter; and third team Kennedy Werth, Quinter; Jaelyn Daley, Wallace County; Allie VonLeonrod, Dighton; Michaela Rippe, Rawlins County; and Joss Benisch, Wallace County.

The Greeley County Jackrabbits swept the state tournament again this year, claiming a 49-43 win over the Lebo Wolves to earn the 2023 1A-Division II Championship game for the second year in a row. The team entered the tournament as the number one seed, with a record of 22-1.
