Jeffrey Todd McNeely, age 60, of Goodland, KS, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado.
Jeff was born November 16,1963 to Larry McNeely and Catherine Fluke in Kit Carson, Colorado. He lived in Kit Carson and Eads, CO in his early childhood, and then grew up Lakin, Kansas. He was a hardworking man with nearly 10 years as manager of the Kanorado Co-op rounding out his career history. Over his life he had many other trucking and agricultural jobs, but he truly was a cowboy and loved that life. On June 16, 1990, Jeff married Lisa Archer in Leoti. They lived in many different areas of Kansas, and a few years in Florida, but finally planted roots in Goodland, KS in 2010. Jeff enjoyed a good glass of sweet tea, riding horses, hunting, fishing, traveling, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Preceding him in death are his wife Lisa; parents Larry McNeely and Catherine Fluke; father-in-law, Billy Archer; sister-in-law, Shelley Weems; grandson, Gannon Warden; and nephew, Justin Lane. Jeff is survived by his daughters, Danielle McNeely (Hunter Dodson) of Goodland, KS and Chelsea (Cody) Young of Waukomis, OK; sister, Dana (Chuck) Lane of Lakin, KS; sons, Dylan (Courtney) Warden of Hesston, KS, Cale (Sherri) Warden of Deerfield, KS, Devon (Karleigh) Fisher of Scott City, KS, Trevor (Kelly) Fisher of Scott City, KS; mother-in-law, Janis Archer of Goodland, KS; brother-in-law, Mike Archer of Cedar Bluff, KS; 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many more family and friends.
Memorial service will be Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. MT at Bateman Funeral Home, 211 East 11th Street, Goodland. Memorials may be designated to Jeff McNeely Memorial Fund and may be left at the service or sent in care of Bateman Funeral Home, PO Box 278, Goodland, KS 67735.
