NOTICE OF HEARING

 

The State of Kansas to All Persons Concerned:

      

     You are hereby notified that a petition has been filed in this court by David Kent Edman, as an interested person in the estates of Charles Robert Edman, deceased, and Peggy Lou Edman, deceased, praying:

       Descent be determined of the following described real estate   

       situated in Greeley County, Kansas:

 

An undivided one-fifth (1/5) interest in and the North Half of the Southwest Quarter (N/2 SW/4) in Section Sixteen (16), Township Seventeen (17) South, Range Forty-One (41) West of the 6th P.M;

 

An undivided one-fifth (1/5) interest in and the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) in Section Thirteen (13), Township Nineteen (19) South, Range Forty-One (41) West of the 6th P.M.; 

 

All the oil, gas and other minerals in and under, and that may be produced from the North Half of the Southwest Quarter (N/2 SW/4) in Section Sixteen (16), Township Seventeen (17) South, Range Forty-One (41) West of the 6th P.M; and 

 

An undivided one-fifth interest in and to all of the oil, gas and other minerals in and under, and that may be produced from the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) in Section Thirteen (13), Township Nineteen (19) South, Range Forty-One (41) West of the 6th P.M. 

 

And that such real property and other property owned by the Decedents at the time of their deaths be assigned pursuant a valid family settlement agreement.  You are hereby required to file your written defenses thereto on or before May 7, 2025, at 9:00 o’clock a.m. of said day, in said court, in the City of Tribune, Greeley County, Kansas, at which time and place said cause will be heard.  Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon said petition.
