Don E. Moore
Don Eugene Moore was born on March 3, 1962, in Tribune. He was the son of Emmit C. Moore and RoseElla (Kuder) Moore-Graham.
He attended Greeley County High School and graduated in 1980. In 1982, he married Cindy Tillis and they had two children Amanda (Bobby) Ward of Selden and Jesse (Tamara) Moore of Miami, Okla. Don and Cindy later divorced, after which Don married Ann Osborn. They had two sons, Joshua Osborn of Cheyenne Wells, Colo., and William Moore of Horace.
Don was always happy to help those in need and wore many hats during his lifetime. He worked as a maintenance technician at Greeley County Schools and drove a semi for his parents’ custom harvesting business. He assisted his Uncle Roger with auctioneer services, roofed houses, and even ran a snow-blowing business with his brother Clarence.
Don departed this world on March 26, 2026, at his home in Horace. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, his wife Ann, and his brother Clarence.
He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Purcell and Marilyn Divelbiss; four children; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other family members, He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for June 6, 2026, at 2 p.m. MT in the basement of First Farm Bank at 522 Broadway Ave, in Tribune.
Memorial contributions may be made out to the Don Moore Memorial Fund and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
