ORDINANCE NO. 816
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO 811 ESTABLISHING FEES FOR SANITATION WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES AND PROVIDING FOR NEW CHARGES FOR SANITATION WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF UNIFIED GREELEY COUNTY, KANSAS
SECTION 1. DEFINITIONS. All terms used in this Ordinance shall have the meaning ascribed to them in SECTION 2 of ORDINANCE NO. 727 and repeal ORDINANCE 794.
SECTION 2. All persons and other entities receiving solid waste collection services from the Municipal Service District, shall pay to the Utility Administrator a monthly fee for such service, which fee shall increase according to the following schedule as of June 1, 2025:
(A) Within the Municipal Service District (city limits) - $21.00
(B) Within the 10 miles of the Municipal Service District (city
limits) - $41.00
(C) Outside 10 miles of the Municipal Service District (city limits)
- $57.00
(D) For each roll away cart - $26.00
SECTION 3. Every applicant for sanitation waste collection services shall pay the following fees when establishing sanitation waste collection services for each new customer or property:
$41.00 for each new customer or property within the 10 miles of
the Municipal Service District
$57.00 for each new customer or property outside 10 miles of
the Municipal Service District.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect June 1, 2025 and from and following its publication in the official newspaper of Unified Greeley County as provided by law.
