RESOLUTION NO 2024-006
WHEREAS, the NWK Small Solid Waste Landfill Authority has reviewed the Solid Waste Plan for the Region and the Counties included therein; and
WHEREAS no changes have been made in the regional and county solid waste plans. And
WHEREAS Solid Waste Committee of Unified Government of Greeley County, Kansas have reviewed the Solid Waste Plan and the operations of the Greeley County Landfill and HHW satellite Site; and
WHEREAS the Committee has, as a result of the review, made the following recommendations concerning the Solid Waste Plan and operations of the Landfill:
1. Continue the current plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY SUPERVISORS OF GREELEY COUNTY, KANSAS on this 23rd day of December, 2024 that the report of the Review of the Regional Solid Waste Plan and the County Solid Waste Plan and operations of the Greeley County Landfill and HHW Site are hereby approved as set forth above.
